Trade fair and symposium: inspiration, education and networking

Swiss Medtech Expo ist the trade fair for Europe's third- largest Medtech market. Leading suppliers, research and educational institutes as well as specialised service providers will be demonstrating their competencies.

The 4th Swiss Medtech Expo turns the spotlight onto twelve focus topics. They show visitors what topics they must address to successfully implement their Medtech projects – from boosting performance to small-volume production and quality assurance.


Focus topics for medtech projects

The spotlight at Swiss Medtech Expo is on twelve focus topics. They show visitors which topics they need to address in order to successfully implement their medtech projects - from performance enhancement to small series and quality assurance.

Merging digital and analog

The exhibitors will illustrate their competences by means of solutions already implemented. These showcases are also comprehensively illustrated online and visitors will receive important information on the showcases even before the Swiss Medtech Expo. They benefit from a unique overview of the current possibilities of the Medtech industry.

Innovation Symposium

Visitors will also find inspiration and a great deal of expertise in the numerous presentations at the Innovation Symposium. Keynote speakers report on science, technology and industry. In showcase presentations, visitors learn about the background to exciting projects and become acquainted with current innovations.

AM Expo takes place parallel to Swiss Medtech Expo. It is the only trade fair in Switzerland that deals exclusively with additive manufacturing.

The trade fair ticket includes attendance at both trade fairs, the Innovation Symposium as well as participation in the Wine & Cheese Party* and the AMX Entry Meeting.

Arrival at Swiss Medtech Expo



By car

Take the A2 highway exit for Luzern-Horw. You will find various parking options at the exhibition site. A parking fee is charged.

By public transport

Take the S-Bahn (Metro) that leaves Lucerne main station every 15 minutes (at 12, 27, 42 and 57 minutes past the hour) and get off 2 minutes later at the station named Allmend/Messe. Alternatively, bus line 20 will bring you to the AM Expo from Lucerne main station in just 8 minutes.

Accommodation in Lucerne

Here you can find accommodation close to the fair. Lucerne Tourism is giving away a free public transport ticket for every overnight stay at a hotel.

Trade fair committee

Representatives from across the entire value adding chain make up the Swiss Medtech Expo trade fair committee. Together they work on developing the trade fair's focus with an aim to pick up on the needs, trends and developments within the industry and to ensure important topics are incorporated in the support program.
